an online Mental Wellness course to help you think better, feel better and live better… all from the comfort of your own home.
What is Shine Bright Virtual Groups*?
This online course begins with a 1-hour webinar on ‘Coping with Anxiety’ delivered by Bec Howard, Founder and Lead Psychotherapist of ShinyMind on
Thursday 25th April 6pm – 7pm.
This webinar will be followed by two 2-hour sessions on:
- Tuesday 7th May 6pm – 8pm ‘Getting to know me – helping you to understand your thoughts, feelings and behaviours’
- Tuesday 14th May 6pm – 8pm ‘Relationships – helping you to understand and improve your relationships with yourself and others’
*You will be joining with up to 100 other patients of West Street Surgery.
Why should I attend and how will this online course benefit me?

Across this online course, Bec will explore topics to help you understand the way you think, feel and behave and share tools and resources that will help you improve your overall mental health and wellbeing.
As part of this course, patients who attend will also get free access to the NHS wellbeing prescription, ShinyMind, a mental health and wellbeing app created with NHS staff and proven to reduce anxiety and stress and improve low mood. You will receive regular wellbeing messages on the ShinyMind app, signposting to further empowerment exercises and resources to continue your wellness journey throughout the course and beyond.
