Working Towards Pride in Practice

West Street Surgery is pleased to announce that Nurse Tracey Stewart, following a comprehensive training program, has been accredited as the LGBT Foundation Training Academy Champion for West Street Surgery.

At West Street Surgery, our commitment is to provide a supportive and safe environment for LGBTQ+ patients, upholding fairness, equality, and valuing diversity. The LGBT Foundation is a national charity that offers advice, support, and information services to the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and trans (LGBT) communities, in addition to granting GP Practices and their staff access to a wide range of training and support packages through their training academy.

Our forthcoming goal is to attain the ‘Pride in Practice’ award.

We are inviting the LGBTQ+ community to share their insights on how GP Practices can become more inclusive and enhance the experiences of LGBTQ+ individuals accessing primary care services. We have devised a brief, anonymous survey and would greatly value your feedback.

Access to the survey is available at the following link: https://s.surveyplanet.com/od0aqs7m
